Charcoal Grey Boiled Wool Fabric

Beautifully soft boiled wool fabric in a lovely smart, dark grey colour, perfect for Autumn and Winter dressmaking. Boiled wool has all the great properties of normal wool fabric and is naturally water resistant, warm and long-lasting. 

When the wool is boiled, the woven wool shrinks and the resulting fabric becomes denser and more tightly woven, making it softer and even warmer than regular wool. It is also water resistant, so perfect for outerwear including coats and jackets. 

Boiled wool doesn't need pre-washing and is easy to sew. This grey boiled wool would make a gorgeous coat or jacket.
